On the return trip, both vans will travel together, leaving camp at 9:15 am on Monday, September 3rd and returning to Toronto late that evening. The vans may stop at a place of interest (TBD) on the way home. Let us know if you have a stop in mind.

Only those with a valid Canadian passport will be permitted to sign up for the van. See Tips on Border Crossings and Documentation Required for Border Crossings. Anyone stopped at the border will be left behind and will need to make their arrangements from that point forward. Mosaic will not be responsible for anyone in this situation.

Flying vs. Driving

  • We estimate it will cost you around USD 350 to fly to Pittsburgh and then catch the Mosaic Shuttle. There are about USD 250 savings riding the van.
  • We estimate between arrival to the airport, pre-flight, post-flight and then Mosaic transport you will spend about seven to nine hours getting to camp if you fly. Total drive time in the van is estimated around nine to ten hours. Almost the same time frame.
